The Purple Museum's Día de los Muertos celebration runs 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with sand painting and sugar-skull activities on the first floor, monarch butterfly mask making in the LeRoy Neiman Art Studio, Aztec dancing by Mictlan Danza y Cultura at 10:30 a.m., and Teatro Familia Aztlán-led processions through the museum at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. that stop at Lupe, the museum's 14,000-year-old mammoth.
